Whether you keep track of your blood readings on your own or through your doctor, it is important to know where you are at this moment so that you can understand what to do to change things around. I'm going to share invaluable information about monitoring your numbers! I will show you how easy it is to wear a Continuous Glucose Monitor and how anyone can easily check your numbers by using your smart phone and a continuous monitor. You do NOT have to be diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes to be able to wear a Continuous Glucose Monitor (or prick your finger with a monitor several times per day), the choice is yours.

Research shows: Exercise helps counter the effects of type 2 diabetes in several ways. It increases insulin sensitivity, which helps the cells use any available insulin to take up glucose from the blood. Also, when muscle cells contract during exercise, they are able to take in glucose even when insulin is unavailable. If you are trying to reverse type 2 diabetes at home, you should undertake at least 150 min per week of moderate to vigorous aerobic exercise spread out during at least 3 days during the week, with no more than 2 consecutive days between bouts of aerobic activity.
